Larry Heard is an unquestioned pioneer of house music, affectionately known as the 'Godfather Of Deep House'.
He went by many aliases, most notably as Mr. Fingers. His classic, Can You Feel It, in 1986, was the first of it's kind. Deep House was thus born, and it was all uphill from there.
He often did his own vocals on his songs, and remixed numerous tracks of other artists as well. Unfortunately for us, he hung up the headphones a few years back due to hearing loss. But his legend is set in stone!
Larry Heard is unmatched when it comes to the deep house genre. He is a king among men!
This will be a now be a three part trilogy tribute to Larry and his brilliance. Stay tuned for part three.
